Baked Pecorino with honey and Croutons



Ingredients (serves 4):
100g/3.5oz block of cheese
Cardoon honey
100g/3.5oz coarsely grated stale bread
Extra virgin olive oil

Toast the stale bread in a pan with a little oil until golden and crunchy, then place to one side.
Cook the cheese in a non-stick skillet, taking care that the parts that touch the pan are crispy but not burned. Allow the pan to cool slightly, then turn the cheese over and repeat on the other side.
Serve the cheese with the honey and the croutons.stampa
